POSTPONED: New Date TBA!
Hack SJ is the first-ever high school hackathon hosted by the South Jersey Innovation Center (SJIC). On Saturday, September 27th, from 9 AM to 9 PM, high schoolers from across the region will gather for a day of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
It’ll be a unique opportunity for high schoolers to network with college students studying CS, professionals in tech fields, and like-minded students from across the region—all while collaborating on a project they can showcase on a portfolio.

Announcing Our 2025 Theme: Think Globally, Solve Locally
Your challenge is to select a worldwide problem, identify a specific instance of that problem local to you, and build a piece of software to improve it. Want to solve world hunger? Start with food pantries in your town. Want to fix the education system? Find a way to improve your school. There are so many sweeping issues facing the 8 billion+ people on the planet, but we want to see you narrow it down to improve the lives of the thousands, hundreds, or an even smaller circle of people closest to you.
